Talking about your pelvic health can be awkward. Maybe someone mentions it when you’re about to have a baby, or a friend jokes that they’ve been avoiding the trampoline lately.

Here’s the thing: if your pelvic health is tickety-boo, you don’t even think about it.

But if you’re struggling with pain, uncomfortable sex, or incontinence, you’ll know: pelvic floor issues can seriously affect your quality of life.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THAT.

Good pelvic health starts with good habits in childhood.

And across your lifespan, there are heaps of factors that can affect your pelvic function.

THINGS LIKE:

HORMONES

PHYSICAL CHANGES

PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS

INJURIES

CHILDBIRTH

TRAUMA

CONSTIPATION

No matter the cause of your pelvic discomfort, you can learn to manage it.

Physiotherapy is an evidence-based, minimally-invasive way to address your concerns—so you can live exactly the kind of life you want.

  • Oh, I’m so glad you asked! A Women’s, Men’s, and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist is a specialized physio who’s all about helping you with pelvic floor and pelvic health issues—no matter your gender. Whether it’s supporting women after having babies, helping men recover from prostate surgery, or tackling things like pelvic pain, leaking, or that “heavy” feeling down there, we’ve got you covered.

Think of us as your go-to experts for feeling strong, confident, and comfortable in your body. We use exercises, hands-on techniques, and lots of education to help you with whatever’s going on. No matter your age or stage of life, we’re here to help you feel your best!

  • Oh, I totally get it—talking about pelvic floor stuff can feel super awkward at first. But here’s the thing: I’m here to listen, no judgment, and help you feel better. You’re not alone in this, and there’s absolutely no need to feel embarrassed. Think of me as your pelvic floor cheerleader—I’m here to support you, answer your questions, and guide you every step of the way. Let’s start the conversation and get you feeling like you again!

  • Nope! Most of the time, you can just book directly with us—no referral needed. But if you’re hoping to claim a Medicare rebate (more on that below!), you’ll need a referral from your GP under a Chronic Disease Management Plan.

  • Yes, there can be! If your GP refers you under a Chronic Disease Management Plan (used to be called an Enhanced Primary Care Plan), you might be able to get a Medicare rebate for up to 5 sessions a year. Just check with your GP and our clinic to make sure everything’s set up right.

  • Wear something comfy and easy to move in! You might be doing some gentle exercises, so stretchy pants or leggings are perfect. And don’t stress—if we need to do an internal exam (which isn’t always necessary!), we’ll make sure you’re comfortable and know exactly what’s happening every step of the way.
